Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!
Yes, I know I haven't been updating for a looooooong time but that's cuz I have nothing THAT interesting to write, yes college is great yeahdayeahda, then what?
Although...there is one point I would like to make to justify that school is better than college. The school gets 1 WEEK off but we only get 2 days!! Isn't it sad and disgusting to spend CNY in college when we could have gotten ang pows and food instead?? Ugh..
Anyway, I went to Penang, Kulim and Ipoh as usual. I got really pissed during the 2nd day of CNY when my cousin told me that he wants to stay at my house for 1 and a half years, going to the same college as I do!! And I'm not even that close to HIM cuz he has some serious issues (he told me that if he stays at my house, at least he would get to see my 'beautiful' face when he wakes up in the morning... SICK!! Hes my cousin doh!) Uhhhh...
But other than that, this CNY was good, got to see both my grandparents from Kulim and Ipoh. I have to say that I'm really thankful to have 2 sets of grandparents (sets, can I say that?) who are still alive. They bring cheer, laughter and copious amounts of food! For that, I am thankful to God that I can experience the joy that they bring into my life :)

One of the Boys
This was the plan:
Have a get together with Ming Yu and Nazran who came back from Aussie and UK respectively for the holidays. Called 4 girls and 2 guys join us.
The turnout:

My reaction:
At 1st I was a lil anxious, scared that it would be a lil akward
The event:
It was fun! We did guys stuff, and surprisingly I enjoyed this new experience :P We went to a cyber cafe next to the cinema to play, u guessed it, Counter Strike! Haha, at 1st, I was shot dead a lot in the blizzard, but when I got the hang of it...... Nah, I didn't really get the hang of it! But, but... i did manage to kill some people. And my friends were pretty supportive despite the frequent deaths of yours truly :P
Then, we went to AnW and chatted a lot about life and computer games :P I'm not a computer gamer junkie but i like to hear about them, and anything that interest my friends. Haha, memories of the times that they were part of my school life filled my head :) Ahhh, those good old days.......
Went to play another round of Counter Strike and then headed to the arcade to play House of the Dead 4. It was sooo fun, but it was kinda tiring holding the plastic gun and shaking it for it to reload :P
Then played foosball and pool and Max Payne!
Haha, I really enjoyed myself! Moral of the story, it doesn't matter what we do with our friends, we will have fun anyway!

College Life
I was pretty scared going to college for the 1st time as I didn't know what to expect. Called Aveena a couple of times, contemplated on what to wear for minutes, tried to figure out what to bring....stuff like that. I made a promise to myself to be more sociable, truth is, I'm one of the most antisocial people you can find on the face of the earth. Surprisingly, I talked to some of the seniors who were part of the student council and I must say that they are really friendly. All along, I believed that most seniors were snobby and we as juniors are unworthy to be in their presence. Guess I was wrong, cuz they were soo nice!
Found out that I was in a different class compared to my schoolmates. How I felt?? Hmm, lets see, I was sad, annoyed and pissed (duh!) But because I'm a big believer in fate, I accepted what was given to me with a half hearted smile :\
Today is the 3rd day of college and I'm proud to say that I have made new friends, surprise, surprise! And of course, stick to the friends that I have known since secondary school. Despite the fact that the class is as cold as Antarctica, I really enjoy college. 100 times better than school! No uniforms, we can walk where ever we like, a 2 hour break, a game room, cute Caucasians, what more could I ask for??
